PAKISTAN 2003

After 30 days in Iran, I crossed the border at Taftan; a hot and dusty border town. Made up of Mud-walled buildings, this place is not where you would to spend much time if you can help it. Since I was in company of Italian mountain climbers in a land rover; we pushed on to a town called Dalbandin.

Started by shipping my motorcycle from a river mouth in Malaysia on a garlic boat (illegally); entering in Sumatra;the largest island entirely in Indonesia.

I entered Iran from Turkey, a week or so after the US started its war on Iraq. This was a big jump of faith, as I had idea what to expect in Iran.
The people I met in Iran, where some of the nicest of my trip. I am very grateful for their hospitality and the experience I had traveling from west to east by motorcycle!

This trip was post motorcycle trip, I met my wife on the border of Burma during a trek in Thailand. We wanted to go back because we never explored Myanmar.
We enjoyed our trip here, and want to come back again. Because the country has little contact with tourists and a bit difficult on making arrangements, we used a tour group.
